Nostalgia is Spanish has a very strong meaning.
It means longing for something that is gone. It is described with the word "ahnelar", which does not have a direct translation but means something like: wishing something vehemently.

Its meaning carries sentiments of happiness as when you remember good old times, yet sadness because these good times are now gone. But beyond these feelings,  I believe it also carries a  very strong connotation of hope.

Hope is the starter of change. Hope is what keeps a man fighting for a cause. Hope is what makes a man political.

As a group, we have chosen to submerge ourselves in the Politics of Nostalgia. The first thing that came to my mind was that politics, contrary to what is taught of rationality and science, it is actually largely based on feelings and emotions. It is Affective. It is emotional, and nostalgia is a very strong emotional influence.

So the question could be:  how such an emotional force drives the politics of our everyday life? or it could also be: how the nostalgics of our everyday life can become political to start making a change?
